Better Bookkeeping is currently one of the largest CPA firms in Boston, Massachusetts. Since we are growing at such a rapid rate, we are looking for the perfect match to fill our tax accountant position. While Better Bookkeeping focuses on tax planning, bookkeeping, personal financial planning, individual and business tax returns; it seems the tax accounting department is growing the fastest. The tax accountant we are looking for will be responsible for tax reporting, tax planning and advising.

The tax accountant will be held accountable for collecting tax-related information. This will also include reporting to taxation authorities at state, federal, county and local levels in a timely manner. Job Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited program and 150+ credit hours, with plans to take the CPA exam. Experience, familiarization with accounting programs and excel worksheets is a plus.

• Master’s degree in Taxation a plus.

• Strong written/verbal communication is a must.

• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and highly organized.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
